Perea is a private orthodontics practice: a limited schedule and no rotating doctors. Every appointment, from the assessment to removing the attachments, is handled by Dr. Mariana Perea Sandoval.
Imaging is done in the same office —panoramic X-ray, lateral cephalogram and intraoral scan— so the diagnosis comes out of the first visit.
Invisible orthodontics, planned to a tenth of a millimetre.
Aligners are custom-made clear trays; each one moves two or three teeth a few tenths of a millimetre. The movement comes from the sequence, not the material: each tooth's full path is planned on a computer before the series is made.
Tooth-coloured attachments are placed for precise movements. Compared with braces, the difference is logistics: you take them out to eat and visits are further apart.

For the first two or three days with each aligner you feel pressure, especially when biting. It is not sharp pain and rarely needs a painkiller. After the first week your body gets used to the rhythm.
Face to face at conversation distance, hardly. What does show up close are the attachments, which are tooth-coloured but raised. On video calls they can't be seen; in flash photos sometimes they can.
Yes, because you eat without them. The condition is brushing before putting them back in: with the aligner on you can only drink water. The real habit change is rethinking what you snack on between meals.
Go back to the previous one the same day and let us know on WhatsApp. Depending on where you are in the series, you move ahead to the next one or we make a replacement: $1,200 and 7 to 10 days.
We hand over the rest of the series and the digital plan, so an orthodontist in your new city can continue without repeating imaging. If it is temporary, we follow up remotely with photos every three weeks.
